BLOOD TYPE
It is a project based on the Japanese theory of Blood Type Personality, programmed in processing.
Blood type theory of personality was first brought up in the scholar journal called Psychological Research, by Takeji Furukawa, a professor in Japan in 1927. However, without detailed investigation, the actual research on this theory was ended unsuccessfully. It was later expanded by Masahiko Nomi during the 70's.
But now days, blood type theory of personality leads to a cultural phenomenon that blood types become somewhat similar to horoscopes in some social environments. And it is more commonly considered in Japan than other parts of the world, especially in the aspect of popular culture. Some Japanese companies even group their employees based on their blood types to construct better and more effective working environments. And it is already a natural thing to include an individual's blood type on his/her public profile.
I have implemented the basic beliefs of blood type theory of personality, with Type-O being socially active, Type-A being straight-forward, Type-B being isolatedly independent, and Type-AB being indecisive, to produce a visualization of how blood type perception affects social interactivity.
RUMOR CIRCLES

"They say it's so, so it must be so."
This is my illustration of how rumors and gossips are spreading out from one circle to another with new errors adding, and more informations are being misinterpreted.
The blue circles are the original information group. The next level of rumor circles can be triggered by clicking the original ones.
Starting from the Blue >> Green >> Orange >> Pink >> Yellow >> Purple.
This project is built with Flash, ActionScript, XML and PHP.
NAVIGATING SCANDALICIOUS

This is a 3-Dimensional project programmed in processing, with the theme of navigating the digital space.
User may navigate through the 3-D space of the cluster of scandalicious photos by using the keyboard and the mouse. Clicking each image will trigger brief information about the mysterious ordeal.
My concept is inspired by the then well-known and powerful internet crime, which is now taking its effects overwhelmingly in Hong Kong, China. This on-going internet terroristic incident was started by a male Hong Kong celebrity who accidentally leaked his sexual media collection to a computer company. His shocking sexual photos and videos have now been owned and become weapons of a mysterious individual, who named himself KIRA. (KIRA is a name taken from a famous Japanese comic story "Death Notes," where KIRA mysteriously kills criminals who aren't lawfully punished.) KIRA in this matter is still not arrested or found, while he keeps threatening the Hong Kong celebrity community and police by claiming to release more shocking images.
As watching this matter continues to much further levels, I began to think about how terroristic the internet space can become. When everything seems to be so transparent to the public, nobody knows where the origin really is. It is just like a labyrinth made of clusters of informations.
MINI GAMES
Here are two mini game projects I did during my first approach to interactive programing. They were both built with the older version of Processing. Although they are very minimal and elementary, I find them cute and fun to look at; therefore, I've decided to keep them on my website.

"Battle of Bunnies" is a 10-second game about a bunny shooting a ball over the river to another bunny. User may adjust the firing angle by moving the mouse and the pressing of the spacebar will determine the firing power.

"Walking Shape" is a puppet controling gadge. User may control the square by using the up/down/left/right keys on the keyboard or click on the sides of the screen, even combining the two methods.
